Free-form Series
The Free-Form Series introduces the concept of depth to the traditional Abstract Expressionist practice of creating flat, two-dimensional work. By staining liquid acrylic onto unprimed canvas, releasing the canvas from its stretcher, then suspending it from a rod or physically folding and shaping it, a third dimension is added, enhancing the pieces' complexity.
